1) What is difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef? |

A Private Chef is employed by one individual or family full-time, and is often a live in, and prepares up tp three meals per day.
A Personal Chef serves several clients, usually one per day, and provides multiple meals that are custom designed for the client's particular requests and requirements. These meals are packaged and stored to be consumed at the clients leisure. |

2) Can I sample the food? |

3) I prefer comfort foods, your menu seems a little elaborate, can I get meatloaf and mashed potatoes? |

Of course! You and I will design a meal plan based on your diet, health concerns and preferences. |

4) What if I have never experienced French cuisine and don't know if I like it? |

You have so many other options. You can sample it and if you do not like it, I will never prepare it for you. |

5) I have children who are very picky eaters, do you have portions for them? |

I can do better than that! Children have their very own menu with portions they can handle and foods that taste great. I will prepare, package and label the entrees just like yours. |

6) How much does the service cost? |

I charge and hourly rate of $32.50 per hour, with a half an hour charge for shopping and menu planning. For example, a prepared custom dinner for two that takes 2 1/2 hours to prepare would cost $81.25, plus the cost of the groceries. |

7) Why do I have to leave a grocery deposit? |

The grocery deposit allows me to shop for the freshest and your preferred ingredients. You are never surcharged, the deposit is deducted from the final invoice. |

8) Do you cook in my kitchen? |

Yes, I prepare the meals in your kitchen utilizing my pots, pans and utensils. At the end of the day I leave your kitchen clean and your refrigerator stocked with your selected menu items. |

9) How long does it take to cook? |
| |
It depends on the service you select, the number of people, and the number of courses. Usually, a 5 day prepared custom dinner for 4 will take 3 1/2 hours of actual cook time. |

10) How often do I receive the service? |
| |
I prefer to cook the prepared meals once a week to maintain the quality of the dishes. The other signature services can be scheduled as often as necessary. |

11) What is your cancellation policy? |
| |
Because the service is strickly voluntary there is no penalty for cancellation. You can request the service as often or as seldom as you like.
Once groceries have been purchased, usually the day of service, with your grocery deposit you can not cancel or reschedule that cook date. |

12) What if I live outside of the Houston area? |
| |
Because I charge by the cooking hour, out of town clients will be accepted on cause by cause basis. Please call before you place your grocery deposit. |
